Chris Walker

Chris Walker has worked for several companies since 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Freelance Plugin Developer for Black Rooster Audio, a Research and Development Intern for Elk, and an Intern for WeJam. In 2022, they began working as a Plugin DSP Developer for Neural DSP Technologies and a Software Engineer for Vochlea Music. Chris's roles have involved development of commercial audio software plugins, bug tracking, maintenance of core frameworks, product licensing systems, research and development, implementation of augmented instruments, and interactive scores.

Chris Walker attended The University of Salford from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a B.Sc. (Hons) Professional Sound and Video Technology in Media Technology and Audio. Chris then went on to pursue an M.Sc. Electronic Engineering by Research at Queen Mary University of London from 2018 to 2019, focusing on Audio Technology, Digital Signal Processing, and Audio Programming. In July 2018, they obtained a User Pro Tools Version 12.8 certification from Avid.
