Sara Garcia Rates

Sara Garcia Rates began their work experience in 2004 at the University of Barcelona, where they completed a Master's degree in Pharmacology. In 2006, they joined the Departament de Farmacologia and pursued a Ph.D. at the Universitat de Barcelona, which they completed in 2011. During this time, they also obtained a Master's degree in Biomedicine.

Following their Ph.D., Sara joined the University of Oxford in 2011 as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant until 2013.

In 2013, Sara moved to Neuro-Bio Limited, where they held various roles over the years. Sara started as a Senior Neurobiologist from October 2013 to June 2015. Sara then became the Deputy Research Director from June 2015 to September 2020, during which they also contributed to the launch of the company's new website. From August 2016 to September 2020, they served as the Director of Research, and from May 2018 to September 2020, they held the position of Head of Drug Discovery. Currently, they are working as the Operations Director at Neuro-Bio Limited, starting in September 2020.

Overall, Sara Garcia Rates has a strong background in neuroscience and pharmacology, with extensive experience in research and leadership roles at both academic and industry institutions.
