Anja Philippsen

Anja Philippsen is a Senior Research Scientist at neurocat GmbH since April 2021. Prior to that, Anja worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Tokyo from April 2019 to March 2021, and at NICT from December 2017 to March 2019. Anja's research focuses on computational modeling of human cognition using machine learning and deep learning techniques, conducting user studies, and supervising student projects. Anja also completed a doctoral program at Bielefeld University from January 2014 to November 2017, where the research focused on building a model for the autonomous bootstrapping of speech inspired by infants' learning and involved teaching and student project supervision.
