Vlad Petrutiu has a diverse work experience in the field of computer vision and machine learning. Vlad is currently working as a Computer Vision Engineer at Neurolabs since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Huawei from June 2021 to August 2022, where they served as a Master Thesis Student and explored Transformers in the Super Resolution field. Vlad also designed new data generation techniques for training state-of-the-art models. Before Huawei, Vlad worked at Neurolabs - Computer Vision. Simply. For all. as a Computer Vision Engineer from October 2019 to July 2020, where they gained hands-on experience in computer vision. Additionally, they worked as a Machine Learning Intern at the same company from July 2019 to October 2019. Vlad also has experience as a Bachelor Thesis Worker at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca from November 2019 to June 2020, where they researched the capabilities of Generative Adversarial Networks for generating Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. This research resulted in a small publication titled "Enhancing the classification of EEG signals using Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Networks."
Vlad Petrutiu completed their education in a chronological manner. Starting from 2012 to 2016, they attended Gheorghe Șincai National College, where they pursued their Romanian Baccalaureate. During their time there, they focused on Mathematics and Computer Science, with an English Intensive program.
Following that, from 2016 to 2020, Vlad Petrutiu enrolled at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca. Vlad pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science.
Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, Vlad Petrutiu attended Aalto University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
