Tony Medeiros

Tony Medeiros has a diverse work experience in the field of therapy services and music therapy. Tony is currently working as the Director of Therapy Services at NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals. Prior to this role, they held positions as the Director of Recreational Therapies and a Neurologic Music Therapist at Neuropsychiatric Hospital of Indianapolis. Tony also has experience as a Recording Studio Owner at Silver Moon Studio and has worked as a Freelance Musician and Composer. Tony has held roles as a Neurologic Music Therapist at The Hope Source, Larue D Carter Memorial Hosp, and Simon Cancer Center/University Hospital. Their expertise lies in music therapy and they have been involved in this field since 2013.

Tony Medeiros received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Morehead State University, with a major in Music Performance, General, from 1987 to 1991. Following that, Tony pursued a Music Therapy Equivalency degree at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis from 2010 to 2012, specializing in Music Therapy/Therapist. In June 2014, they obtained the certification of Music Therapist - Board Certified from the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
