Zachary Shaw is a Principal Engineer at Nevada National Security Sites, leading the NNSS Pulsed Power Team for the ASD Scorpius project and serving as Principle Investigator for multiple Site Directed Research and Development projects since August 2021. Concurrently, Zachary holds a position as Senior Engineer at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas starting September 2022, and has experience as Associate Graduate Faculty at Texas Tech University from June 2015 to August 2021, along with roles as Research Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at The Center for Pulsed Power and Power Electronics. Current research focuses on designing and implementing a waveguide test bed to study the multipactor effect. Zachary Shaw earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2021, a Master of Science in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in 2015, all from the same institution.
