Janet Stake

Janet Stake has a diverse work experience in the field of higher education. Janet started their career at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2008 as a Catalog and Curriculum Coordinator/Program Officer II. In 2015, they transitioned to the Nevada System of Higher Education and took on the role of Academic and Student Affairs Officer. In this position, Janet coordinated initiatives such as GoToCollegeNevada and helped plan college access and success conferences. In 2020, they became the Director of GEAR UP Programming and Outreach, overseeing sub awards and serving thousands of students and families.

Janet Stake has a Master's Degree in Information Technology for Education/Instructional Design from the University of Nevada, Reno. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Human Resources Management from Upsala College.
