Michael Bakker

Michael Bakker has a diverse and extensive work experience. Michael was most recently employed with the Nevada System of Higher Education as the Assistant Director, overseeing the development, integration, and operations of the Workday HRMS and Financials system for all higher education institutions in Nevada. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Nevada Reno as the Director of Enterprise Applications, responsible for managing various system applications and their integrations with core systems. Michael also served as the PeopleSoft Project Manager at the university, leading a team in managing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Portal projects. Before their time at the University of Nevada Reno, Bakker worked at Spartan Stores as a Sr. Developer, focusing on eProcurement and purchasing workflows development. Michael has also worked as an Independent Consultant at Infuse Consulting, leading security and workflow architecture projects for H&R Block during the implementation of PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS. Bakker began their career at PeopleSoft, Inc. as a Systems Engineer, working with different clients on complex workflow design and multi-application security configurations.
