Jiten Kothari

Jiten Kothari has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jiten is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at New American Funding, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Associate Director of Technology at the same company from June 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining New American Funding, Jiten worked as a Software Development Manager (Contractor) at Short's Travel Management from October 2019 to June 2020. In this role, they managed a team of 10 direct reports, including developers and QA.

From November 2015 to September 2019, Jiten held the position of Assistant Vice President | Application Services Manager at Capital Group | American Funds. Jiten managed web and mobile teams comprising of more than 20 reports and was responsible for establishing and managing the technology strategy for digital platforms.

Prior to that, Jiten worked at Arbonne International LLC as the Senior Technology Leader - Innovation, Mobile & Web. Jiten managed two teams of 15+ reports, provided technology leadership for eCommerce initiatives, and built an innovation lab.

During their tenure at Nexa Technologies from March 2014 to October 2015, Jiten held multiple positions including Vice President of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Web Development Manager. Jiten oversaw development operations, managed budgets, and recruited high-performing teams.

Jiten also has experience working at other companies such as Carlson Wagonlit Travel / AQUA Software, Travelogia.com, AOL (America Online) / Time Warner, Aspen Technology, and Surf Control Inc. / Cyber Patrol.

Throughout their career, Jiten has demonstrated strong leadership skills, managed teams of various sizes, and overseen product development and delivery responsibilities. Jiten has expertise in technology strategy, web and mobile development, and innovation initiatives.

Jiten Kothari holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from the University of Pune. Jiten has also obtained certifications in DevOps Foundations, Mentoring Others, and iOS Mobile App Development using Objective C and Xcode from Lynda.com and Directions Training.
