Owen Azevedo

Owen Azevedo is a Police Officer at New Bedford Police Department since February 2022, bringing practical law enforcement experience to the role. Prior to this, Owen served as an Engineer at S&F Concrete Contractors, Corp. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Westfield State University, attended from August 2017 to May 2021, and completion of high school at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School in May 2017. Owen gained valuable experience as an intern with the Bristol County Sheriff's Office, working with the K9 Unit and participating in demonstrations and patrol duties. Additional internship experience includes a position with the New Bedford Fire Department.
