James Outland

James Outland is a founding partner of NCP and has over 30 years of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and business development leadership experience in both entrepreneurial business ventures and established corporations. Prior to co-founding New Capital Partners, James served in various key roles in the healthcare industry and as an officer of UnitedHealth Group after its acquisition of Complete Health Services.

James is currently Chairman of the Board for ACES Quality Management, Collect Rx, Medsurant Health, Precision, P&R Dental, Telehealth Solutions and Volly as well as serves on the boards of DotCom Therapy and HealthFuse. James previously served as a Board Member of former portfolio companies Teladoc (NYSE: TDOC), Awarix (sold to McKesson [NYSE: MCK]), Senior Whole Health (sold to TA Associates), Prism Pointe Technologies (sold to Systems Maintenance Services, Inc.), and REPAY (sold to Corsair Capital). In addition to his role as Chairman of the Board, James also served as the CEO for Senior Whole Health during its first year of operations. James is active in the Birmingham community serving on the boards of the UAB Medicine, UAB Health Services Foundation, Birmingham Legion and Birmingham Museum of Art, most recently as Chairman.

James has a BA in Political Science and a BFA in Advertising from Southern Methodist University.
