Faculty, Child And Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program at New Center for Psychoanalysis

Sandra J. Landen, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience in private practice since January 1994, providing psychodynamic psychotherapy to individuals across various age groups, including adults, adolescents, and children. In addition to their clinical work, Sandra serves on the board at the New Center for Psychoanalysis and has held leadership positions within the organization, including current roles as Director for the American Psychoanalytic Association and Chair of the Membership Division. Sandra is also a faculty member in the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program and a supervisor at Wright Institute Los Angeles. Previously, Sandra contributed to the academic community as adjunct faculty at Pepperdine University, teaching doctoral courses related to child and adolescent development and psychotherapy. Sandra holds a Ph.D. and an MA in Psychology from UCLA, as well as training as a psychoanalyst from the New Center for Psychoanalysis.
