Heather Kaplin

Heather Kaplin is a Software Engineer at New Data Systems Inc since September 2018, with a strong background in software development and project management. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Technical Consultant at Nuance Communications, where responsibilities encompassed managing projects focused on speech and voice-recognition technology for Fortune 500 companies including Wells Fargo Bank, UPS, and Prudential Life Insurance. Prior to that, Heather worked as a Software Engineer at Computer Associates, handling quality assurance testing and feature development for the BrightStor brand. Heather began a career at IBM as a Summer Intern, automating system testing and developing migration tools. Heather holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Binghamton University.
