Sophie Wilks

Sophie Wilks is currently employed as a Neurofeedback Clinician at New Directions for Veterans, where trauma and mental health challenges are addressed using Infra-Low Frequency training based on the Othmer Method, along with protocol development tailored to clients' symptomology. In addition, Sophie works at The Balanced Brain Neurofeedback Training Center, administering neuro- and bio-feedback training. Previous experience includes positions as a Brain Trainer at Peak Brain Institute, Program Assistant at Simms/Mann Institute focusing on holistic cancer treatment research, Research Assistant at The Berger Institute specializing in heart rate variability analysis, and Mental Health Campus Ambassador with Ignite Mental Health advocating for student mental health initiatives. Sophie's background also includes volunteer work providing equine therapy support to veterans and interning at Sesame Workshop and Nightingale Designs. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Scripps College.
