Chris Sliney is a Functional Safety Engineer at New Eagle since November 2022, with prior experience as an Autonomous Vehicle Systems Engineer at Ford Motor Company from February 2018 to October 2022 and as a Restraint Design Engineer at Nissan Motor Corporation from November 2012 to January 2018. At Nissan, Chris Sliney was responsible for the design and development of vehicle restraint systems, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, managing program development schedules, and overseeing validation testing for seat belts and air bag systems. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering in Robotics Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Chris Sliney also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University.
