Dhananjayan Sriskandarajah

Dhananjayan Sriskandarajah is a prominent leader in the non-profit and public sectors, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the New Economics Foundation since January 2024. Previously, Dhananjayan held the position of CEO at Oxfam GB from January 2019 to December 2023 and was a member of the Global Future Council on Global Public Goods during November 2019 at the World Economic Forum. Dhananjayan's extensive experience includes being a member of the UN Secretary-General's High-Level Panel on Digital Co-operation from July 2018 to June 2019, and serving as Secretary General & CEO at CIVICUS from January 2013 to December 2018. Additional roles include membership in various high-level panels and leadership positions with organizations such as the Commonwealth Foundation and the Royal Commonwealth Society. Dhananjayan holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Oxford, as well as a Master of Philosophy in Development Economics and International Development from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Economics with Honours from the University of Sydney.
