Jared Kaplan

Jared has worked with ultra high net worth families and institutions for over twenty years. He specializes in building customized investment strategies to help clients achieve their financial and operational goals. Jared’s areas of technical expertise include analysis of traditional and alternative asset classes, creating structured investment vehicles, as well as addressing concentrated wealth and taxation issues.

Prior to joining NewEdge Wealth, Jared was a Managing Director at UBS. He has also held positions at Bank of America’s Private Bank, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch. He received his B.A. in International Business from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL and a M.B.A. from the University of Miami in Miami, FL. Jared has been recognized by Barron’s as a “Top Financial Advisor” many times throughout his career.

Jared is passionate about giving back to the community and using his professional experiences to assist organizations he deeply cares about. He serves on the Board of Trustees at Palmer Trinity School, the Investment Committee for the Legal Services of Greater Miami Foundation, and regularly volunteers in various initiatives that provide a better quality of life to the homeless community in Miami Dade County. Jared lives in Pinecrest, FL with his wife and two children. When Jared is not playing tennis, skiing, or trying new workouts, he can be found on the court sidelines, coaching his daughter’s basketball teams.
