Monica Terrades

Monica Terrades is an experienced educator currently serving as a Visitor for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges since 2021 and as the American Curriculum and RtI Coordinator at Valencia Montessori School. Prior roles include teaching at the American School of Valencia and serving as a Dual Language Teacher in both the U-46 Elgin School District and San José Unified School District. Monica's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Neuropsychology of High Ability Students from Universidad de La Rioja and a Gifted Education and Talent Development Graduate Certificate from the University of Connecticut. Additional qualifications encompass a Teacher Certification Program with a Bilingual/ESL endorsement from Quincy University, a Master’s Degree in Logopedics and Rehabilitation of Language and Speaking Disorders from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia.
