Pingfang Liu

Pingfang Liu is an Associate Director at New England Biolabs, overseeing a team focused on catalog products and custom NGS product development since April 2011. Previously, Pingfang Liu served as Principal Development Scientist II and played a key role in the development of significant products such as NEBNext Ultra® DNA Library Prep Kits and NEBNext Immune Sequencing Kits. Earlier experience includes a Research Fellow position at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where Pingfang Liu developed assays for detecting genome-wide mutations, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard School of Public Health, where significant discoveries regarding DNA repair pathways were made. Pingfang Liu holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Irell & Manella Graduate School of Biological Sciences and has degrees in Microbiology and Ecology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Wuhan University, respectively.
