Before that, Theresa served as the Acting Director of Development at the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill and played a crucial role in managing fundraising initiatives.

Theresa Lee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maine in 1987. Theresa later pursued a Master of Arts degree in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University from 1987 to 1989.
