Dawn Whitten

Dawn Whitten, MHA, BSN, RN, OCN, CBCN, serves as the Director of Clinical Informatics and Information Technology and the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at New England Cancer Specialists since March 2001. In these roles, Dawn establishes processes to enhance quality, safety, and patient experience while ensuring compliance with various accreditation partners. Dawn has held the position of Clinic Nurse Manager and Clinical Lead Nurse, focusing on holistic care for breast cancer patients in outpatient oncology/hematology settings. Prior to New England Cancer Specialists, Dawn worked as a Registered Nurse in oncology/hematology at Maine Medical Center. Education includes a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Saint Joseph's College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution, with ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Nursing at Purdue Global.
