Derek Schwartz

Derek Schwartz is an experienced Program Officer for Theater at the New England Foundation for the Arts since May 2018. Previous roles include Visitor Member Services Associate at the St. Louis Art Museum, where responsibilities involved selling memberships and customer service. Derek also served as a Production Assistant and Contributing Writer for KDHX Community Media and as a Freelance Writer and Editorial Intern for Riverfront Times. Additional experience includes being a Special Collections Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis, an Editorial Intern at Vineyard Gazette, and a Contributing Writer for Prefixmag.com. Derek's early internship experience includes music editorial duties at Time Out New York. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Music Technology at Temple University, Derek earned a bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis and completed secondary education at Concord Academy.
