James Furrer

James Furrer is a Control System Engineer at NEW ERA Converting Machinery, Inc. since June 2019, specializing in electrical design, programming, testing, and commissioning of full web converting lines, along with field service and troubleshooting. Previously, James served as a Learning Technology Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology from October 2015 to May 2019, providing technical support for classroom technologies. An experience as an Associate RF Engineer at V-COMM, L.L.C. involved assessment and analysis of RF systems in 2016. Additionally, James held the position of Theater Technician at Cresskill Board of Education from September 2011 to August 2015, leading a crew and managing technical aspects of lighting and sound for performances. James also provided tutoring in physics from September 2014 to June 2015. Education includes a degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, earned between 2015 and 2019, following attendance at Cresskill High School from 2011 to 2015.
