Matt Crapp has extensive work experience in the forestry industry. Matt started their career in 1994 at Forestry Corporation of NSW, where they held various regional forester roles for ten years. In 2004, they joined VicForests as the Director of Sales and Planning until 2009. Matt then moved to Forestry Corporation of NSW again, becoming the Softwood Marketing Manager until 2013. From 2013 onwards, they worked at New Forests, initially as an Associate Director, then as the Director of Operations, and currently as the Head of Asset Management, Developed Markets.
Matt Crapp attended The Australian National University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. In 1997, they enrolled at Deakin University and completed a Graduate Certificate in Business, which lasted until 1999. After a gap in their education, they resumed their studies in 2008 at RMIT University and obtained an Executive MBA degree in 2011. No specific field of study is mentioned for their MBA degree.
