Ryan Sheffield

Ryan Sheffield has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of People at New Fortress Energy starting in September 2023. Prior to that, from February 2021 to August 2023, Ryan worked as the Chief of Staff at NRx Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Before their time in the pharmaceutical industry, Ryan gained experience at Cantor Fitzgerald. From March 2019 to February 2021, they worked as an Analyst in the Office of the President. Ryan then transitioned to become the Executive Assistant to the President from January 2017 to March 2019. Other roles at Cantor Fitzgerald included Fixed Income Operations Analyst, High Yield Sales Assistant, and Executive Assistant in the Office of the CEO (Broker Dealer) from June 2016 to January 2017, January 2016 to June 2016, and August 2014 to December 2015, respectively.

Prior to their time in the corporate sector, Ryan served in the US Army. Ryan held various positions within the organization including Director of Human Resources from February 2014 to August 2014, Project Manager from April 2013 to February 2014, Operations Manager from July 2012 to April 2013, Fire Support Officer from March 2012 to July 2012, and Platoon Leader from January 2011 to March 2012. In these roles, they demonstrated leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and expertise in managing personnel and resources.

Ryan Sheffield received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Penn State University.
