Conor Farrow

Conor Farrow, CFA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Conor is currently working at New Gold Inc. as a Manager of Treasury, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Financial Analyst at New Gold Inc. from August 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining New Gold Inc., Conor worked at BMO Financial Group for a year. During their time there, they served as a Manager of Corporate Funding from August 2020 to August 2021. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Analyst of Corporate Funding from October 2019 to August 2020, and as a Senior Analyst of Liquidity & Funding Management from March 2019 to October 2019.

From August 2018 to March 2019, Conor worked as a Research Analyst at Equium Capital Management Inc. Conor also gained experience as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley from December 2016 to March 2017.

Conor began their career as a Trading Assistant at RP Investment Advisors in April 2014, where they were involved in day-to-day trading, research and analysis, risk reporting, and trade capture. Conor had previously interned at RP Investment Advisors from January to April 2012.

Conor's earlier internships include positions at RBC Capital Markets from May to August 2013, and at Barometer Capital Management Inc. from September to December 2012.

Conor Farrow, CFA, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, General, which they obtained from Dalhousie University. Conor completed their studies from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Royal St. George's College for high school education from 2002 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Conor has acquired various certifications. Conor obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in October 2019. Additionally, they completed the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in July 2013. In May 2012, they received certification for Advanced Investment Strategies, also from the CSI. In December 2011, Conor earned the Canadian Securities Course certification from the CSI.

Most recently, in May 2022, Conor completed a course titled "Mining and Mineral Resources: A Systems Overview" at Queen's University.
