Grant Kornelson

Grant Kornelson has several years of work experience in the mining industry. Grant worked at New Gold from 2010 until present, starting as a Co-op student and progressing to roles such as Development Engineer, Underground Shift Supervisor, and currently as a Production Engineer. Prior to that, they had a position at Syncrude Canada Ltd. as a Short Range Tailings Planner from 2009-2010. Grant also had co-op roles at DMC Mining Services from 2006-2008.

Grant Kornelson attended The University of British Columbia from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a B.A.Sc. degree in Mining Engineering. During their time at the university, they also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering.
