Chuck Schaeffer

Chuck Schaeffer Ph.D. is an experienced professional in the fields of psychology, education, and consulting, currently serving as an invited author for the upcoming book "When Panic Happens" and as a Senior Health Industry Consultant for AlphaSights since July 2018. As the owner of Dr. Chuck Schaeffer Psychological Services, Chuck specializes in supporting diverse adults, professionals, and parents while providing consultation on health data privacy. As an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at New York University since January 2010, Chuck has prepared over 300 students for careers in research and clinical practice. Previous roles include Consulting Psychologist at The Motherhood Center of New York, where counseling services were provided for new fathers, and Director of Attention, Executive Functioning, & Learning Needs Program at The Center for Optimal Performance LLC. Chuck’s educational background includes a Ph.D. in Counseling and Clinical Psychology from New York University, along with a Master's degree in School Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology, both from the same institution.
