Allysa Beers TRS, CTRS is a seasoned recreational therapist with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Recreational Therapist at New Haven Residential Treatment Center since September 2022. Previously, Allysa held the position of Director of Programming at The Single Parent Project from May 2020 to January 2024, and served as Director of Recreation Therapy and Recreational Therapist at Copper Hills Youth Center between April 2011 and August 2022, where responsibilities included planning and facilitating various therapeutic and community integration activities. Allysa also directed recreational therapy at Heritage Care Center from August 2007 to January 2010, focusing on activities for geriatric and rehabilitation residents to enhance their mental and physical well-being. Allysa earned a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation from Brigham Young University in 2007.
