Jezelle Cutia

Recreational Therapist at New Haven Residential Treatment Center

Jezelle Cutia possesses extensive experience in therapeutic recreation and support roles within the mental health field. Currently serving as a Recreational Therapist and Residential Assistant at New Haven Residential Treatment Center since January 2016, Jezelle assists 12 adolescent females with mental and physical disabilities, focusing on empowering them to recognize their individual worth. Previously, as a Recreational Therapist Intern, Jezelle coordinated recreational therapy groups for 30 females, emphasizing functional interventions and quality time for students and families. Prior experience includes working as a Physical Therapist Aide at Believe in CT, where Jezelle facilitated exercises for clients with limited motor control and assisted in aquatic therapy. Jezelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from Brigham Young University, completed in 2016.
