Gary Post

Gary Post has extensive experience in both religious and law enforcement roles. Since September 2010, Gary has served as an Associate Pastor at New Hope Church, managing administration, counseling, preaching, and teaching responsibilities. Recently, Gary retired as Care Pastor from the church on April 30, 2023. Prior to this, Gary was the Deputy Racing Commissioner for the State of Michigan from 2006 to 2010, overseeing investigative and enforcement activities related to horse racing regulation. Gary also held the position of Executive Pastor at Trinity Church from 2004 to 2006, where supervision of ministry staff and church operations was a primary focus. Earlier career experience includes a role as Assistant Director of Operations at TRW and 26 years with the Michigan State Police, culminating in various leadership positions. Gary holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice and Police Science from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Calvin University.
