Jason Pugh, Ph.D.

Jason Pugh, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. From 2008-2014, they worked as a Secondary English Teacher for Pitt County Schools. In 2013, they were an Instructional Designer at Continuum, where they earned the Certified IT Expert and developed high-quality content for Continuum's e-learning platform, Continuum University. Jason specialized in creating instructional e-learning modules to enhance partners' learning of the services provided, and developed training materials and scripts for webinars for software updates. From 2014-2015, they were a Training & Development Manager at RB Retail & Service Solutions, where they provided high-quality training sessions to clients who use Point of Sale (POS) and Business Management Software (BMS). Jason was also in charge of developing and executing go-live plans with them. Since 2015, they have worked at New Horizons, first as a Leadership and Development Facilitator/Program Manager, where they received the #1 Worldwide Instructor. Jason then became Director of Leadership & Development, and is now Vice President, Center for Leadership & Development. In this role, they oversee the growth, curriculum, procedures, and delivery of all Leadership & Development deliveries, generates and continues the growth of sales revenue and opportunity, and serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to all personnel who require CLD knowledge.

Jason Pugh, Ph.D. obtained their Diploma from West Mifflin High School in 2003. Jason then attended Seton Hill University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature and a Secondary Education Certification in English Education in 2007. From 2009 to 2012, they attended East Carolina University, where they obtained a Master of Education (M.A.Ed.) in Education. Finally, they attended Robert Morris University from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Instructional Management and Leadership. Additionally, they hold certifications from Continuum and Microsoft.
