Shota Tadumadze

Shota Tadumadze is a highly skilled ophthalmic surgeon with extensive experience in various areas of ophthalmology, including retina service, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and emergency ophthalmology. Currently serving at New Hospitals since November 2020, Shota also holds membership in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Georgian Ophthalmological Society. Previous roles include ophthalmic surgeon at Javrishvili Eye Clinic Oftalmij and completion of advanced training through a postdoctoral fellowship at Modern Eye Hospital, where more than 200 vitreoretinal surgeries were performed, and a fellowship at Leipzig University. Shota completed an ophthalmology residency at the Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education following medical education at Tbilisi State Medical University.
