Frederick Fife is a Deputy Branch Commander in the Investigations Branch at the New Jersey State Police. Frederick has over 25 years of law enforcement experience.
Fife began their career as a police officer with the Philadelphia Police Department in 1995. Frederick served there for three years before joining the New Jersey State Police in 1998.
In 2002, Fife left the NJSP to join the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent. Frederick served with the FBI for one year before returning to the NJSP in 2003.
Fife has served in various positions with the NJSP over the past 17 years, including as a Detective Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain. Frederick was promoted to their current position of Deputy Branch Commander in 2019.
Frederick Fife attended the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where they earned a public leadership credential. Frederick also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Saint Joseph's University. Fife earned their Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from Penn State University. Frederick is a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Saint Anselm Parish grade school.
