Stephen J. Behnke

Stephen Behnke is an experienced healthcare executive currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Lexington Clinic since July 2021. Prior to this role, Stephen was President at MedOne Hospital Physicians from June 2005 to July 2021, where responsibilities included general management and strategic planning for a leading Hospital Medicine team in Columbus, Ohio. Stephen also served as an Instructor of Clinical Medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center from 2003 to 2005, focusing on patient care and the education of housestaff and students. Stephen's early career includes a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts from Asbury University. Stephen holds both an MD in Medicine and an MBA in Healthcare/Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville.
