Sean Cahill

Sean Cahill is a data engineering professional currently working at New Math Data since May 2022, where significant projects include distributed machine learning using a LightGBM model, AWS Sagemaker environment setup, and development of in-house tooling with AWS Bedrock. Prior experience as a Data Analyst at SpinSys involved utilizing AWS Redshift and Teradata for data validation and reporting, while at Loop Insurance, responsibilities spanned data analysis for crash predictions and marketing performance, alongside cloud organization and small-scale data pipeline development. Sean's career began with the United States Marine Corps as a Helicopter Crew Chief and Mechanic. Sean holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and has completed studies at Middlebury College in Spanish.
