Shandiin Wood

Shandiin Wood is an experienced public health professional currently serving as the Northeast Regional Public Health Director at the New Mexico Department of Health since June 2015, with a history of roles including Health Systems Epidemiology Program Manager and Epidemiologist Evaluator. In addition, Shandiin Wood has been a Director of Social Services at Life Care Centers of America since December 2012, returning to the clinical social work field. Shandiin Wood also has experience as a Research Specialist and Assistant Evaluator at The University of Arizona, and served as an Independent Contractor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from August 2018 to September 2020. Shandiin Wood holds a Master of Public Health degree in Public Health Policy and Management from The University of Arizona, obtained between 2009 and 2011.
