Valerie Onsurez Gauna

Valerie Onsurez Gauna, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Director of Marketing & Public Relations and Professor of Business at New Mexico Junior College, having held various roles including Scholarship & Marketing Specialist and Executive Assistant. With extensive experience in project management and human resources, Valerie previously worked at Option, Inc. as a Facilitator for a non-profit women's shelter, and gained project support expertise at Enrichment Technology, U.S. as an Executive Assistant to the Project Manager. Valerie's early career included mentoring first-generation college students at Upward Bound and coordinating HR benefits at NOR-LEA Hospital District. An intern at Marie Curie Cancer Care in the UK, Valerie focused on fundraising strategies. Educational credentials include an MBA from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, alongside an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from New Mexico Junior College.
