Devon Myers

Devon Myers has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Membership Service Coordinator for the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) for a few months. In the same year, they joined Envision Experience as a Lead Project Coordinator and held the position for two years. In 2017, Devon began working at KIPP DC as a Co Teacher before transitioning to a Teacher role in 2018. Devon remained with KIPP DC until 2020, focusing on high achievement for students and providing one-on-one support. From 2020 to 2022, Devon worked at the East River Family Strengthening Collaborative as a Center Manager and later as the Chief Of Staff. Currently, they hold the positions of Recruitment Manager and New Power Director at New Politics, starting in 2022. Devon's roles have involved various responsibilities such as developing positive relationships, maintaining records, collaborating with teams, and enforcing disciplinary codes.

Devon Myers pursued higher education by first completing a Bachelor's Degree in History at Howard University between 2011 and 2013. Following this, Myers undertook further academic achievements, earning a Master's Degree in Public Administration from George Mason University during the period of 2014 to 2016.
