Nikelle Carter

Nikelle Carter is a seasoned Clinical Program Manager at New Reach, Inc. since May 2020, where responsibilities include monitoring program policies, collaborating with executive leadership, and providing crisis intervention support to clients facing trauma and substance abuse challenges. Prior experience includes serving as Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor and Child Care Worker/Counselor at the Children's Center of Hamden, which involved direct supervision of staff and development of individualized treatment goals. Nikelle also held positions as a Substitute Teacher for the New Haven Board of Education and as an Academic Coach at LEAP, showcasing a commitment to education and youth development. Nikelle earned a Master's Degree in Recreation and Leisure with a focus on Therapeutic Recreation, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in the same field, both from Southern Connecticut State University.
