Maria Jose Plata

Maria Jose (MJ) Plata serves as the Global Director of People Operation Partner at New Relic, Inc., where responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of global People Operations strategies and coaching the People Operations team. Previously, MJ held the position of Director of HR Shared Services at Envision Healthcare, managing the hire-to-retire process for over 6,500 employees. Additional experience includes roles as People Project Manager at Cable & Wireless Communications, Director of HROS for Latin America at Teva Pharmaceuticals, and HR Operations Lead for Latin America and the Caribbean at Microsoft, among others. MJ holds an MBA in Business Management with an emphasis in HR from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
