Sean Reed

Sean Reed is a seasoned design professional currently serving as Lead Product Designer at New Relic, Inc. since June 2023. Previously, Sean held positions including Senior UX Designer at Oracle, where contributions included building transformative design systems for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and UX Researcher at Nuro, focusing on user needs in autonomous delivery experiences. Sean's leadership experience extends to roles such as Head of Design at OpenNode and Masen, where efforts centered on enhancing payment systems and simplifying blockchain user experiences, respectively. Early in the career, Sean was a professional poker player, applying game theory and behavioral economics skills in a high-stakes environment, and gained technical experience as a Secretariat Technician at Salt River Project. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Society from Arizona State University and completed a program at General Assembly in 2017.
