Smitha John

Smitha John is an experienced professional in human resources and people operations, currently serving as People Operations Lead at New Relic, Inc. since June 2022, and as a People Consultant at Google since July 2019. Previously, Smitha held the position of Escalations Program Manager at Amazon from June 2016 to June 2019, where responsibilities included addressing employee concerns and improving processes to enhance overall experience. Prior to Amazon, Smitha managed talent acquisition for mid to senior-level hiring at Flextronics from April 2006 to May 2016, overseeing HR operations across multiple regions. Smitha holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Loyola Institute of Business Administration, earned between 2004 and 2006.
