Wm. Matthew Tankersley

Wm. Matthew Tankersley has extensive experience in archaeology and geospatial management, currently serving as Geospatial Manager and Archaeologist/Historian at New South Associates since January 2001. In addition, Wm. Matthew Tankersley has held the position of Geospatial Data Manager at the same company since January 2010. Previously, Wm. Matthew Tankersley worked as a Field Archaeologist/Lab Technician at The Charleston Museum from June 1998 to August 2000, contributing to an archaeological field school organized by the Department of Anthropology at the College of Charleston and overseeing the curation of artifact assemblages. Wm. Matthew Tankersley holds a Master of Heritage Preservation degree from Georgia State University (2005-2008) and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from the College of Charleston (1994-1998).
