Lauren Bumgardner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2008, Lauren interned at Swinerton Builders and gained valuable experience. In 2009, they continued their internship at DPR Construction. From 2007 to 2010, Lauren worked as an Administrative Assistant and Teaching Assistant at California Polytechnic State University, where they managed ongoing projects, served as a student liaison, and assisted professors. In 2015, they became a Recreation Assistant at the City of Capitola, providing customer service support and coordinating classes. Lauren then joined Xpera Group in 2010 as a Lead Project Coordinator, where they facilitated project kickoffs, maintained project processes, and produced various documents. Since 2015, Lauren has been with New Teacher Center as a Program Manager and later as a Project Manager. In these roles, they led key projects, managed communications, provided training, and oversaw budget and cost planning. Lauren also successfully managed grant funding for professional development work. Overall, Lauren Bumgardner has demonstrated a strong ability to manage projects, coordinate teams, and provide excellent customer service.

Lauren Bumgardner obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management with a minor in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. This educational journey took place from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, Lauren earned a certification as a Smartsheet Product Certified User from Smartsheet in December 2020.
