Jaydn Alexander

Field Instructor Counselor at New Vision Wilderness

Jaydn Alexander possesses a diverse background in art therapy and education, currently serving as an Art Therapist at Northwest Guidance and Counseling Clinic since September 2018 and acting as a Field Instructor Counselor at New Vision Wilderness since July 2018. Previous roles include Assistant Teacher at La Petite Academy, Art Therapy Intern at Heartlinks Grief Center and McCallum Place Eating Disorder Centers, and an Art Enrichment Student at Head Start of Metro East St. Louis. Jaydn began a career in the arts as a Youth Artist Mentor for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota. Educationally, Jaydn holds a Master’s in Art Therapy-Counseling from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, a Bachelor’s in Fine and Studio Arts from St. Cloud State University, and an Associate's degree from Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
