Vernon David

Vernon David is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Professional Learning Specialist for Algebra 1 and Charter Policy and Assessment Manager at New Visions for Public Schools since July 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing assessments and coordinating academic policies. Additionally, since July 2018, Vernon has held the position of Senior Program Officer for Network Assessments at L.E.A.R.N. Coaching and Consulting, and previously worked as a coach for Pearson and as an EDTPA Portfolio Scorer for Secondary Mathematics. Vernon’s teaching experience spans over a decade at the Academy for Environmental Leadership within the NYC Department of Education. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in School Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Master of Science in Teaching (Secondary Mathematics) from Pace University, and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York, along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from LeTourneau University.
