Sukyung Chun

SuKyung Chun has a diverse work experience in the field of music. Currently, they work as an Adjunct Professor at California State University, Stanislaus. Prior to this, they served as the Principal Double Bassist with the New West Symphony starting in 2022. SuKyung also worked as the Assistant Principal Double Bassist for the Fresno Philharmonic Orchestra in 2020 and as a Section Double Bassist for the Long Beach Symphony in the same year. Starting in 2013, SuKyung held the position of Assistant Principal Double Bassist for the American Youth Symphony until May 2017.

SuKyung Chun completed a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance at Seoul National University from 2006 to 2011. SuKyung then pursued a Master's degree in Music Performance at the University of Southern California from 2019 to 2021. In between, they obtained a Professional Studies Certificate in Music Performance from the Colburn School from 2011 to 2015. SuKyung also earned a Graduate Certificate from the University of Southern California from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at the International American University in 2018 and 2019.
