Kierah Highsmith

Kierah Highsmith is an experienced news producer currently working at FOX 5 Atlanta as a Good Day Atlanta Producer since December 2021. In this role, Kierah is responsible for writing and producing a 60-90 minute show, incorporating live segments, executing the show in the control room, and booking guests. Kierah also has a strong background in mentoring multimedia students at Georgia Southern University, where mentoring has included leading workshops and providing feedback on various skills. Previously, Kierah held producer roles at NewsChannel 5 Network and WJBF NewsChannel 6, and also worked as a freelance journalist during university studies, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Journalism from Georgia Southern University. Prior experience includes a position as a Media Relations Liaison at LEIPEIN & MODU, focusing on brand awareness and media strategy.
