Andi Choi has extensive experience in finance and administration within the healthcare and academic sectors. In their most recent role as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at The New York Academy of Medicine, Andi oversees and manages finance, facilities management, HR, IT, and the Conference Center. They are responsible for ensuring adequate funding for strategic priorities and implementing optimal systems. Prior to this, Andi served as an Associate in the instructional faculty at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and as the Assistant Vice Dean of Finance at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. They also held roles at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Medical Center, where they provided financial oversight and controls, led the development and monitoring of financial plans, and supported strategic and business planning. Andi's experience demonstrates their expertise in financial management and their ability to navigate complex budgets and funding sources.
Andi Choi completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at New York University from 1997 to 2001. They then pursued an Executive MBA in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Baruch College, which they completed from 2004 to 2007. Most recently, from 2019 to 2021, Andi attended Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and obtained a Master's in Health/Health Care Administration/Management (MHA).
